When Taylor grows up, she’s interested in becoming a police officer or a paramedic but for now she’s shining bright in the classroom. However, to Sims surprise, Taylor was a premature baby with determination and was able to go home the next day. Born six weeks early, the hospital staff assessed that Taylor would have to stay in the NICU. Taylor is known to strike a pose, her mom Lexii Sims told, “As soon as you pull out a camera, she’s going to give you a pose.” Her mom also spoke on how Taylor’s been a fighter since birth.
In a photo shared online by her mother, you can see that Taylor means business, sitting with her legs crossed in her cap, gown, and summer sandals. 6-year-old Taylor Sims from Bastrop, Louisiana came to her graduation ceremony poised and ready to take on first grade.
